Editorial Policy
WonderGrid writes practical guides for foreigners visiting Korea. Readers should be able to plan a trip with our guides alone, so we follow these rules for every guide.
Official sources first
We start with official sources: festival organizers, city and county offices, transport operators and the Korea Tourism Organization.
How we check facts
- Trip-critical facts (dates, places, opening hours, transport, fares, admission and payment) need an official source or two independent sources that agree.
- Small tips, such as crowds or the mood at last year's event, can rest on one source. We show that source in the guide.
- No unsourced claims. If we can't confirm something, we leave it out.
Last checked date and sources
Every guide shows the date we last checked it and lists its sources. We check that every link works before we publish.
Visitor reviews
For places to eat, stay and visit, we link to a recent visitor review. We only use posts from the last two years, and we don't use sponsored posts. We link to reviews; we don't copy them.
Photos
Photos come from official sources or are licensed for reuse. Every photo is credited.
